Anishta is a practicing barrister and was called to the Mauritian bar in January 2018. She worked at the Chambers of Mr. G. Bhanji Soni until December 2018 and after that at Étude Guy Rivalland until May 2020.
She has since then been in independent practice and has been involved in both criminal and civil litigation. She has assisted and conducted various legal matters involving Insurance Law, Land law, Employment law, Criminal Law, Defamation Law and Family law amongst other. Anishta also handled Contractual issues, Intellectual property, personal injury, compliance, corporate and Leasing. She has also been involved in drafting legal pleadings, drafting, and vetting of Contracts, Skeleton Arguments and Written Submissions.
In September 2021, Anishta joined LAWLINE where she is currently working on corporate and commercial files involving Corporate, Financial Services, Banking, Insolvency, Employment, Commercial and Civil Law matters.
